As Korea’s only daily environmental newspaper, The Environmental Daily News
publishes a special daily newspaper. Disseminating credible information and
reforming environmental awareness, it strives to achieve green growth and
development of media culture.
Publishing its first issue on October 15th, 1993, The Environment Daily News
celebrates its 26th anniversary. In November 2009, the environmental press, for
the first time, is recognized as a member of the Korean ABC Association.
Currently, The Environment Daily News established other areas of media such as
Internet articles of environmental news, Monthly Environment magazine, a series of
environmental science cartoon, and more. There is a total of 31 offices and
branches nationwide
With the motto, “A sound argument and writing plainly with a mission,” The
Environmental Daily News covers news with detail, precision, and systematic
approach in order to solve the fundamental issue of the environment.
The Environmental Daily News fulfills its responsibilities as an environment
magazine by reporting on the fields of issues such as destruction of the
ecosystem, soil pollution, exhaustion of resources, and air and water pollution.
Thus, it serves as the watchdog for environmental conservation.
