Dawoon Chung, CEO of Bottle Factory has been doing various activities to reduce the use of disposable plastic cups. To understand the actual recycling rate of take-out cups, she has done a ‘garbage trip’ following garbage trucks and found that the take-out cup was rarely recycled. She has operated an experimental cafe to find out the answer to he question of how to run a cafe without disposable products, which has currently developed into ‘Bottle Factory’. Recently, she also runs a pop-up market called ‘ChaeWooJang’ only accepting unpackaged products.
